Episode 4 - Brave New World
With a cliffhanger question being answered at the beginning of the episode, something that anyone who has watched the past 3 episodes would have noticed. The reason behind all the secrecy to juice mixing leaves all the nine perfect strangers shaken. Some regretting more than others for not being put in the mix. While some relationships heal, others wither.
And today is the Day of Carmel, the day when Carmel meets Masha. A meeting that she has been looking forward to since day one. With every progressing word, she divulges her deepest darkest secrets and desires, the desires that traumatized her, to begin with. Talking to Masha was an outlet, but it was just the beginning of her suffering.
A game of Sword to the Dummy brings the worst (I'd say pent-up darkness) in Frances and Carmel. While some of them are looking forward to it, others begin to feel skeptical about the "therapeutic" experience. The skepticism being the anticipation of the worst that could be brought out from within.
The New Protocol. Level Two. Definitely not the two phrases I would like to hear consecutively in this context.
And at last, a drink to Tranquillum, toasting to life and a death threat on the wall.
