I was an alien to the whole concept of Christmas movies. Every time Netflix suggested a Christmas movie, I'd make sure I skipped it, not matter how exciting the trailer was. This time, I gave myself a chance and watched the first Christmas movie suggestion this year, which was "A Christmas Prince", not knowing that it had a series of 2 other movies which were based on this plot. Thence started the spiral of Christmas movies. So to give a gist, every movie is set at the time of Christmas with the male and female leads who would just happen to meet at Christmas or were separated at that point in time. And eventually, after a lot of drama both of them end up together. THE END. The thing about such movies is that all the characters are irritatingly happy all the time and it's a given that both of them will end up together, when you know that in real life situations like that just don't happen to be. Yet, I found myself very amused with these movies. Before I realised that I was in a Christmas movie spiral, I would have watched at least 15 movies. I know, that this is a lot. But the fun part was trying to analyse the what-ifs after watching the film. Anyone can try that. I use this as a tool to run my imagination wild.
P.S. Watch these movies at your own discretion as the happiness in these movies are addictive.
Bon Nuit!
